Helping you learn to "Speak Dog"
When I train a dog, I feel it is important to use their natural instincts and build on that to help them make better choices. I use that, along with positive reinforcement methods, to help them learn appropriate behaviors. My other job, probably even more important, is getting my clients to understand that training takes patience, practice and perseverance. I will work with you to make a plan that will meet the dog where they are, while working toward your goals.
I've trained approximately 200 dogs and their humans. My experience has been in shelters, group classes, and individual training. I also have worked with over 160 dogs in my pet sitting business and utilize training methods for them as well.

Training is done in your home, using only positive methods. I will help you better understand your dog and assist you in building a stronger understanding of their communication. No Prong, Choke or E-collars are used.
